Former Bruin Vandenberg Wins 200 Free Crown At Stanford Grand Prix

Former Bruin Kim Vandenberg highlighted a small contingent of swimmers who competed over the weekend at the Stanford Grand Prix as she won the 200 freestyle and swam in six event finals during the meet.
Vandenberg won the 200 free in a time of 2:00.37 and was the runner-up in the 100 free (55.72). Also during the meet, Vandenberg placed third in the 200 fly (2:09.89), seventh in th 200 IM (2:17.41), eighth in the 50 free (26.19) and fourth in the 100 fly (1:00.22).
Senior Nicolette Teo finished seventh in the 100 breast (1:11.18) and 11th in the 200 breast (2:34.76). Freshman Emily Bibb placed 12th in the 800 free (9:04.51), 14th in the 400 free (4:22.12), 15th in the 200 free (2:05.73) and 24th in the 100 free (59.38). Junior Anna Poteete was the final current Bruin competing over the weekend as she finished 13th in the 50 free (26.56) and 17th in the 100 free (57.53).
Former Bruin Luisa Los-Santos was also swimming at the Stanford Grand Prix over the weekend. Los-Santos finished 18th in the 100 fly (1:03.05) and 24th in the 100 breast (1:17.77).
