Kang Captures Second Place at the Cowboy Classic

UCLA sophomore Jason Kang vaulted 15 spots up the leaderboard in the final round of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic as five UCLA individual players completed play at Talking Stick GC in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Kang posted a career low score of 64 (-6) and tied for second place at 203 (-7). Senior Brandon Christianson fired a final round 68 (-4) and improved 18 spots, tying for 19th at 210 (E). Junior James Lee tied for 66th place at 218 (+8), freshman Connor Driscoll tied for 96th at 224 (+14) and sophomore Ben Choe tied for 118th at 239 (+29).
UC Davis won the team title at seven-under par 833 and Boise State's Troy Merritt won medalist honors at eight-under par 202 following a final round 66 (-4).
