UCLA Individuals Competing in Cowboy Classic

Five UCLA individuals completed the first two rounds at the Wyoming Cowboy Classic Monday, hosted by Talking Stick Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Sophomore Jason Kang posted rounds of 69-70--139 (-1) and was tied for 17th place, five shots off the lead. Senior Brandon Christianson was tied for 37th place at 142 (+2) following rounds of 72-70. Junior James Lee and freshman Connor Driscoll were tied for 50th place at 144 (+4). Lee posted rounds of 74-68 and Driscoll carded scores of 73-71. Sophomore Ben Choe was tied for 119th place at 164 (+24) following scores of 82-82.

Nate Pistacchio of UC Davis was the 36-hole leader at 134 (-6) following rounds of 65-69. Former Bruin Matt Marshall, who now plays for UC Davis, was tied for 50th at 144 (+4).

Final round action continues on Tuesday.
