USC Honored Across California For NCAA Championship

April 11, 2008

Things haven't died down an awful lot for the USC women's soccer team. In the past few weeks, USC's latest National Champions have been making the rounds as honorees at various California ceremonies recognizing the Women of Troy for their 2007 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship. Since claiming the national title and setting numerous program records, the USC squad - led by first-year head coach Ali Khosroshahin and All-Americans Kristin Olsen and Ashley Nick - have appeared in game-day ceremonies at the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in Anaheim and the Los Angeles Galaxy home opener, have received honors from ESPN 710 and most recently were recognized at the State Capitol in Sacramento in a ceremony attended by the governor and state assembly members as well as USC administrators and President Steven Sample.
