Getting To Know Angela King
April 15, 2008
Angela King had the best finish of her career last weekend at the Peg Barnard Invitational at the Stanford Golf Course. King fired rounds of 73 and 70 to finish with a score of 1-over-par 143, just one stroke off the lead and all alone in second place.
The sophomore has made a steady rise this season for Stanford, grabbing her first top-10 in February when she finished in a tie for tenth at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in Palos Verdes, Calif.
King is native of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif. where she was a four-year letterman in golf at Torrey Pines High School. She is an undeclared major at Stanford.
