NCAA Track & Field Championship Field Set With Over 24 Bruins Set To Compete

The UCLA men's and women's track and field teams will be well represented next week at the NCAA Outdoor Championships as 24 athletes and the women's 4x400m relay were named to the finalized field of competitors.

Receiving automatic bids after last weekend's West Region Championship for the men's team were - Cory Primm (800m), Kevin Craddock (110m Hurdles), Henry Hagenbuch (Steeplechase), Taylor Hobson (High Jump), Dustin DeLeo (Pole Vault), Johnny Quinn (Pole Vault), Jonathan Clark (Triple Jump), John Caulfield (Shot Put), Greg Garza (Discus), Darius Savage (Discus), Boldizsar Kocsor (Hammer). The women's automatic spots went to - Jolanda Diego (100m/200m), Krishna Curry (800m), Lindsay Rowe (100m Hurdles), Nicole Leach (400m Hurdles), 4x400m Relay, Keneisha Creary (High Jump), Tori Pena (Pole Vault), Katy Viuf (Pole Vault), Rhonda Watkins (Long Jump), Renee Williams (Long/Triple Jump).

At-large selections were awarded to Savage in the shot put, Caulfield in the discus, Bo Taylor in the discus, Allison Miller in the high jump and Tori Anthony in the pole vault.

Competition begins on Wednesday, June 11 and runs through Saturday, June 14th. The meet will be held at Drake University in Des Moines, IA
