Stanford to Have Four Games Televised as Part of Pac-10 Package

STANFORD, Calif. - The Pacific-10 Conference released its 2008 television today and four Stanford games will be included on the extensive package with conference partners ESPN, ABC, Fox Sports Net, Versus, NBC, CSTV and The Mountain.

Stanford's season-opener on August 28th against Oregon State will be televised to a national audience on ESPN2 with kickoff slated for 6:00 pm at Stanford Stadium. The Cardinal's third game of the season at Texas Christian will be picked up by The Mountain network and will kickoff at 4:00 pm PT from Amon G. Carter Stadium in Forth Worth. The game at Notre Dame on October 4 will be televised nationally on NBC and is slated for an 11:30 am PT kickoff. Stanford will make its first appearance of the season on the Versus network on November 15 when USC comes to Stanford Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:00 pm PT.

In addition to the Conference television package, individual schools at times may present games on local over-the-air or cable entities. Some of the games are selected prior to the season and the remainder of games will be selected as the season progresses with picks made either six or 12 days prior to the games.
