June 20, 2008
OMAHA, Neb. -
With Thursday's regularly-scheduled College World Series contest between North Carolina and LSU postponed due to adverse weather, all CWS action has been moved back a day. As a result, Stanford's Bracket One final against Georgia, originally slated for 4 p.m. PT Friday, will now be played Saturday, June 21, at 11 a.m. PT on ESPN.
Should the Cardinal be victorious over the Bulldogs Saturday, the two teams will return to action Sunday, June 22, at a time to be determined to play for the right to advance to the best-of-three College World Series Final.
