The Arizona Volleyball Team Picked to Finish Seventh in Pac-10

The Arizona volleyball team was picked to finish seventh in the Pacific-10 Conference by the league's coaches in the annual poll that was released today.
The Wildcats collected 39 points and finished ahead of Arizona State, Oregon State and Washington State.
Arizona is coming off an eighth place finish last season where it went 14-17 overall and 4-14 in the conference.
Stanford was chosen to repeat as league champs after reaching the NCAA title game in 2007.
UCLA was the only other team to receive a first-place vote and the Bruins were placed second.
USC and California, rounded out the top four after both schools reached the Final Four a year ago.
Washington and Oregon were the other two schools in front of the Wildcats.The Pac-10 coaches have picked the correct conference champion in the preseason poll 12 of the previous 19 years.
