Stanford Goalkeeper John Moore Named Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- STANFORD junior goalkeeper John Moore has been named the Pac-10 men's soccer Player of the Week for Sept. 9 - 15, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Moore collected four saves and earned his second consecutive shutout in a 1-0 victory at San Francisco on Sunday. With the shutout, the Chino Hills, Calif., native currently holds a 266-minute scoreless streak.

Moore's .864 save percentage leads the Conference and ranks 27th nationally. His 19 total saves top the Pac-10. He is also tied for first with two shutouts and his 0.71 goals against average ranks second.

This is Moore's first weekly honor and the 10th for Stanford all-time.
