Women's Golf Travels to Guistina Memorial Classic

What's Happening This Week: The Washington State men's and women's golf teams will travel to Corvallis, Ore., to play in the Guistina Memorial Classic...the tournament will be held at the par-72, Trysting Tree Golf Club...the two-day event will begin with 36 holes on Monday, Sept. 22, with a shotgun start at 8:45 a.m., followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday, Sept. 23...the tournament will combine the participating schools' men's and women's scores to give an overall team award.

The Field: The 10-team field will include tournament host Oregon State along with Boise State, Fresno State, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Portland, San Francisco, Sacramento State and Washington State.

Traveling For WSU: Five women from Washington State will make the trip to Corvallis, Ore., this week...the Cougar competitors will include freshman Kristen Allard and Lauren Howell, junior Mandy Parsons and seniors Amy Eneroth and Jessica Black.

Last Time Out: The women's team looks to repeat its last performance at the Inland Invitational in Pullman, Wash....the team finished first with all five first-team competitors in the top 25.
