All Pac-10 teams but one enter league play with winning streaks, paced by OREGON and UCLA each having won their last nine matches. The Bruins will put their streak on the line at USC where the Women of Troy have won their last seven matches.... The league is 93-19 (.830) this season in non-conference play, with a 68-8 (.894) mark in matches that have lasted just three sets.... FSN will televise 11 Pac-10 matches live this season, starting with this week's showdown in Tempe, Ariz., between WASHINGTON STATE and ARIZONA STATE. Paul Sunderland will call the action, while Karch Kiraly and Holly McPeak provide color commentary.... Six Pac-10 teams are among the top 11 in the latest CBS College Sports/AVCA Top 25 Poll - No. 4 UCLA, No. 5 USC, No. 6 STANFORD, No. 8 CALIFORNIA, No. 9 WASHINGTON and No. 11 OREGON. ARIZONA and OREGON STATE also received votes. It's the 18th consecutive week with six Pac-10 teams ranked among the Top 25.

AROUND THE LEAGUE - ARIZONA sophomore OH Tiffany Owens posted a pair of double-doubles last week with 14 kills/11 digs vs. UC Riverside and 11 kills/11 digs vs. Loyola Marymount.... ARIZONA STATE sophomore OH Sarah Reaves tallied 75 kills in three matches last week (5.36 kps), including a career-best 30 kills vs. Western Kentucky. She paces the league with 4.50 kps.... CALIFORNIA junior OH Hana Cutura collected 44 kills (4.89 kps) on 70 attempts with just five errors to hit .557 last week in three matches last week to earn MVP honors of the Fullerton Invitational. Cutura is second in the Pac-10 with 4.40 kps.... OREGON and OREGON STATE each have 11 non-conference victories. Since Pac-10 play began in 1986, the two Oregon schools have never combined for more non-league wins (22).... Oregon State, off to its best start since 1996, is on a six-match winning streak for the first time since 2003.... STANFORD senior OH Cynthia Barboza led the Cardinal with a season-high 20 kills, hit a season-best .474 and added 14 digs for her fourth double-double of the year in their win over No. 19 Cal Poly.... UCLA senior S Nellie Spicer surpassed the 5,000 career assists mark and was named MVP of the Northwestern Wildcat Classic. It was her second MVP honor of the season. She also posted a pair of double-doubles last week, giving her 54 for her career.... Since dropping its first two matches, USC has won seven in a row. The last six victories have each been three-set sweeps. In those last six matches, USC is outscoring its opponent by a 25.2 to 16.7 points per set margin.... WASHINGTON junior OH Jill Collymore set a career-high with seven service aces vs. San Diego. She has 23 aces on the season in 31 sets (0.74), with 19 of those aces coming in just three matches.... WASHINGTON STATE junior L Kelly Hyder became the school's career digs leader after she posted 15 digs in WSU's 3-0 win over Utah Valley University to bring her three-year total to 1,260 digs. Hyder surpassed the 1,254 career digs of former Cougar Shannon Wyckoff (1994-97).
