WSU Swimming To Hold Intrasquad, Alumnae Races

Sept. 26, 2008

This Week: Washington State swimmers will be competing against one another as well as former Cougars in conjunction with Homecoming weekend with races slated to begin at 10 a.m. Saturday...the three groups will compete in 11 events...this is the first year that head coach Erica Quam has held an alumnae meet.

Head Coach Erica Quam Says: 'The Crimson and Gray Relays give our team the opportunity to get up into the blocks and get some racing experience. With 11 new members on the team this season, that's really important because it will be a brand new environment for them. We also thought this was a great way to bring alumnae back for Homecoming weekend to do some swimming, while having an opportunity to catch a football game at the same time.'
