Women's Golf to Play at Ihlanfeldt Invitational

What's Happening this week: The Washington State women's golf team will travel to Sammamish, Wash., to play at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational...the tournament will be held at the par-72, 6,127-yard Sahalee Country Club...the first round of the three-day tournament will begin Monday, Oct. 6, with tee times starting at 9 a.m...live scoring and complete results will be available at www.golfstat.com.

The Field: The 14-team field pairs Washington State with BYU, California, UC Long Beach, Eastern Washington, Idaho, New Mexico State, Oregon, Oregon State, San Francisco, Stanford, New Mexico and host school Washington.

Traveling for the Cougars: Five Cougars will make the trip to Sammamish, Wash., this week...they include seniors Amy Eneroth and Jessica Black as well as freshmen Lauren Howell, Kristen Allard and Andrea Rosete.

Last Time Out: The Cougars' last tournament was the Giustina Memorial in Corvallis, Ore....the team finished fifth overall and placed three competitors in the top 25...Black posted her 17th career top 25, putting her in a tie for seventh on WSU's all-time list.
