Hazi Loses in Final Round

TULSA- In the final round of the pre-qualifying at the All-American Championship Ravid Hazi fell to the Keith Crowley of Miami. Crowley, who is ranked 5th in the ITA rankings, defeated Hazi in the sets 6-4, 2-6, 6-4.

'I thought Ravid battled really well today,' head coach Tad Berkowitz said. 'He showed that he can compete against some of colleges elite tennis players.'

Hazi finished the All-American Championships with a 3-1 singles record.

NOTES:Three Wildcats start the first round of singles qualifying tomorrow.

- Jason Zafiros plays Sergey Audeyev of Oklahoma at 7:00 a.m. Tucson time

- Jay Goldman plays Eric Quigley of Kentucky at 11:00 a.m. Tucson time.

- Andres Carrasco plays Hiaham Laalej of Pennsylvannis at 12:00 p.m. Tucson time.

Also, Goldman/Carrasco plays Joey Burkhardt/Carlos Gueto of Florida during the first round of doubles. Time TBD.
