THIS WEEK: Washington State hosts Arizona, Friday, Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. (note this is a change from 2 p.m.) and Arizona State, Sunday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m.

COUGARS NATIONALLY RANKED: Washington State is ranked nationally this week by the NSCAA (24th)...fifth-straight week Cougars have been ranked in at least one poll this season and 12th overall under Matt Potter.

ABOUT ARIZONA: The Wildcats are 9-9-0, 2-5-0 in the Pacific-10...Arizona is 4-4-0 away from home...Karina Camacho, Renae Cuellar and London King share the team lead with five goals...Camacho has added three assists to give her a team-leading 13 points.

GET YOUR NAME IN THE BOX SCORE: Freshman Megan Chapin notched her first-collegiate point with an assist in the season opener at Montana, Aug. 22...sophomore Emma Stolz and freshman Ali Fenter each tallied the first goal of their respective collegiate careers in Washington State's 2-2 double-overtime tie at James Madison, Aug. 29...Jacquelyn Roth picked up her first-collegiate point with an assist, Sept. 28 against Idaho...Tiara Pittman tallied her first-collegiate goal in a 3-1 win over Eastern Washington, Oct. 3.

THE POTTER EFFECT: Prior to Matt Potter's arrival in Pullman, the Cougars posted three-winning records in eight seasons as a member of the Pacific-10 Conference...under Potter, WSU has produced four-winning records in five seasons.

FRIDAY SOCCER, SATURDAY FOOTBALL: For the second time in school history, Washington State will host the same Pac-10 opponent in soccer, Friday and football, 1996, the Cougars defeated No. 16 California 1-0 in soccer and the 19th-ranked Golden Bears 21-18 on the gridiron.
