Marshall, U-20 National Team Set to Kick off FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup

Chillan, Chile - University of Colorado women's soccer standout Nikki Marshall and the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team has arrived in Chillan, Chile and are set to open group play on Wednesday, Nov. 19 against France at 11 a.m. MST.


Marshall and the rest of the squad, under head coach Tony DiCicco, will continue play on Saturday, Nov. 22 against Argentina.  The team will then travel to Temuco to round out their Group B campaign against China on Nov. 25.


Every U.S. game at the World Cup will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and shown on delay on Galavision.


The U.S. qualified for its place in Chile after a successful run through CONCACAF Qualifying in June.  Marshall and Team USA advanced to the Championship match against rival Canada and despite falling 1-0, they still earned one of three berths to Chile, along with Canada and Mexico, who won the third place game against Costa Rica.
