Bears Finish 6-7 on 1-Meter Board at Texas Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas - California sophomores Tom Henninger and Taylor Dehn placed 6-7 in the one-meter springboard final on Thursday in the Texas Invitational at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center. Henninger scored 313.65 and Dehn notched 302.40 in the evening final.

Host Texas earned the top five spots, with Drew Livingston winning the one-meter title with a score of 397.65 in the final.

In the preliminary one-meter dives earlier on Thursday, Henninger was seventh with a score of 298.55, Dehn was eighth (287.24) and Cal freshman Joe Quattrocchi missed reaching the final by placing ninth (287.10).

On the second day of the Texas Invitational on Friday, men's action continues with the three-meter springboard prelims beginning at 3:30 p.m. CT.
