Baylor Tops Oregon, 81-71

EUGENE, Ore. (AP)--Jessica Morrow scored 21 points, Danielle Wilson added 15 points and 11 rebounds, and No. 7 Baylor survived a rough first half to defeat Oregon, 81-71, Saturday night at McArthur Court.

Taylor Lilley had a season-high 20 points for the Ducks (3-6), who led by as many as 12 in the first half before taking a 39-36 lead at the break. It was the most points Baylor (11-1) has allowed in the first half this season.

The Lady Bears were 9-for-19 from the foul line in the first half and missed a number of close shots in the paint.

Kelli Griffin's 3-pointer gave the Lady Bears their first lead, 46-45, at 16:44 in the second half. The Ducks took a 54-52 lead on a Tatianna Thomas basket with 12:26.

After that, the Lady Bears scored 11 straight on a 15-2 run, going a perfect 7-for-7 from the field during the 4-1/2-minute stretch.
