California's Randle Named U.S. Bank Pac-10 Men's Basketball Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- CALIFORNIA junior guard Jerome Randle has been named the U.S. Bank Pac-10 Men's Basketball Player of the Week for Dec. 15 - 21, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Randle scored a team-high 23 points aginst Nevada to lead the Bears to a 75-66 victory over the Wolfpack on Nov. 20. The Chicago, Ill., native connected on seven of his 10 shot attempts, including 2-4 from beyond the arc. He was also perfect from the charity stripe (7-7) and totaled a game-high eight assists.

Randle is averagine 20.6 points per game, second in the Pac-10, and is tied for second in three-point field goal percentage (.600).

This is the second weekly honor of Randle's career and the 39th overall for California.
