Getting To Know The Walk-Ons

Dec. 22, 2008

STANFORD, Calif.- In addition to true freshmen Jeremy Green and Jarrett Mann, this year's roster features four walk-ons, giving the Cardinal a total of six newcomers to go along with three senior starters.

Among the group of walk-ons, there are three freshmen post players that stand 6-9 or taller: Elliott Bullock (6-10, 220), Matei Daian (6-10, 220) and Jack Trotter (6-9, 200). A fourth walk-on, guard Emmanuel Igbinosa (6-2, 185), has academic standing as a junior.

All four players are focused on learning the Cardinal's offensive and defensive systems and should earn additional playing time as they continue to adjust to Division 1 competition.

Recently, had a chance to catch up with the four walk-ons.
