SEATTLE - The University of Washington men's basketball team concludes its season-long seven-game homestand Tuesday when it hosts Morgan State in a 7:30 p.m. contest that is the second game of a doubleheader with the Husky women's team.

The UW women will play 22nd-ranked Kansas State at 5 p.m. with the men's game against the Bears following afterward. Both games will be televised by FSN Northwest and all tickets purchased are good for both games. The men's game can also be heard live on the Washington ISP Sports Network or on GoHuskies.com. Tickets are available by calling the Husky Ticket Office at (206) 543-2200 or by clicking here.

Ticket holders for Tuesday's game against Morgan State will be admitted free to the 5 p.m. women's game against #22 Kansas State.

Washington enters Tuesday's game with an 8-3 record following a convincing 75-53 victory over the University of Montana on Sunday. Senior Jon Brockman and freshman Isaiah Thomas led all scorers with 13 points each, while sophomore Matthew Bryan-Amaning registered a career effort with 15 rebounds.

In its last six games - all victories - Washington has outscored its opponents by an average of 21.3 points per game. The Huskies defensive intensity has also been effective, forcing 19.2 turnovers per game during that span.

Brockman, who is just one rebound shy of becoming only the second Husky ever to register 1,000 in his career, leads UW in scoring with a 16.7 per game average and is among the nation's rebound leaders with an average of 10.7 per game. Despite a heavily bandaged left hand against Montana, he registered his Pac-10 leading 49th career double-double in points-rebounds.

The Pac-10 leader among freshmen in scoring and assists and third among first-year players in the league in assist-turnover ratio, Thomas has scored in double-figures in nine of his 11 games as a Husky and is second on the team with a 13.6 per-game scoring average.

Morgan State enters Tuesday's game with a 5-7 overall record but had won three-straight games prior to Sunday's 76-60 loss at Saint Mary's College. The Bears' highlight victory was a 79-75 win at DePaul on Dec. 10 before traveling to Moraga, Calif. to play in SMC's tournament.

Coached by former Cal head coach Todd Bozeman, Morgan State's second-leading scorer is former Pac-10 all-freshman team performer Marquise Kately. The San Francisco native averages 9.5 points and is second in rebounding with a 5.9 per game average.

Junior guard Reggie Holmes is the only MSU player averaging in double-figures, scoring 14.2 points per game.

Following the Morgan State game, Washington opens Pac-10 play on the road at in-state rival Washington State on Saturday afternoon in a 3 p.m. tipoff. The rivalry game will be televised live by FSN Northwest.
