The Game
Oregon State plays in its second game of a weekend trip to Los Angeles when the Beavers visit USC. The game at the Galen Center is scheduled for a 2 p.m. PT.

The Galen Center will be the site of the 2009 Pac-10 Women's Basketball Tournament, to be held in March.

Last Game
Alex Mitchell led Oregon State with a career-high 24 points and Brittney Davis posted 14 of her own, but the Beavers lost their Pac-10 opener at UCLA, 60-53, Friday night at Pauley Pavilion.

Mitchell was 9-for-12 on the night and sank 6-of-7 from the free-throw line. She surpassed her previous career high of 23 points that was set Dec. 15 against UNLV. Davis, meanwhile, made both of OSU's three-pointers.

On The Horizon
Oregon State opens up its Pacific-10 Conference home slate when the Beavers host Arizona State and Arizona next week. OSU and ASU play Thursday night at 7 p.m. PT., while the Wildcats visit on Saturday. That game is also scheduled for a 7 p.m. start.

Scouting USC
USC enters Sunday's game with a 7-5 overall record and 1-0 mark in Pacific-10 Conference play after opening its league slate with a 66-56 victory over Oregon. Three players scored in double digits in the win, led by Nadia Parker, who had 17 points.

Briana Gilbreath leads USC with 11.8 points per game, but is followed closely by Parker, who averages 11.6 per contest. Overall, the Trojans have four players who are in double figures on average. Parker also leads the team in rebounding at 6.2 boards per game. As a team, USC out-rebounds its opponents by more than six per game.

Mark Trakh is in his fifth season at USC and carries a 80-50 record with the Trojans into Sunday's game.

USC Series
USC holds a 32-17 lead in the all-time series between the teams, and Sunday's game is the 26th matchup all-time in Los Angeles. The Trojans enter the game with a 19-6 record in Los Angeles.

Tiffany Ducker scored 13 points, collected five rebounds and rejected four USC offerings as the Oregon State women's basketball team came away with a thrilling 55-54 win over the Women of Troy in the 2007-08 season's final home game at legendary Gill Coliseum.

Ducker recorded her ninth double digit scoring game of the season and the 15th of her career and came up with all four of Oregon State's blocks. Julie Futch collected a career high 11 rebounds as well as scoring five points.

Talisa Rhea led the Beavers with 14 points including hitting four shots from beyond the arc. Mercedes Fox-Griffin also reached double digits with 11 points as well as six assists. Ashley Allen scored 10 points to record her 30th career double figure scoring game in her final game in Gill Coliseum.

Troy was led by Nadia Parker's 20 points and seven rebounds. Camille LeNoir also came up big for USC scoring 17 points and dishing out seven assists.

Brittney Davis also reached double figures for the Beavers. She connected on five shots from the field, including two from beyond the three-point line.Oregon State shot 36.5 percent from the field, and grabbed 32 rebounds, with Tiffany Ducker leading the team with 10.

High Scoring Clubs
Sunday's game pits two high scoring teams. USC comes into the game with a 73.8 points per game average while the Beavers are 73.1.

The big difference between the teams? Oregon State is out-scoring its opponents by 21.8 points. USC is doing so by just 7.7 points.

Knock Down Free Throws
Oregon State has been one of the Pac-10's top free-throw shooting teams all season and enters Sunday's game with a .751 mark from the charity stripe this season.That has come in handy as the Beavers have made more free throws than their opponent in every game this season.

Mitchell's 24
Sophomore Alex Mitchell set another career high on Friday night, posting 24 points against UCLA. Mitchell was 9-for-12 from the field and had six free throw makes from the line.

The 24 points surpassed her previous high of 23 set against UNLV on Dec. 15.

Big Sunday
Oregon State's game Sunday will be the team's 12th of the season, but it will be the fifth to be played on a Sunday. The Beavers enter the USC contest with a 4-0 record on Sundays.

This ... And That
Brittney Davis' 14 points Friday night marked her 21st career double-digit effort ... The Beavers have played in just three games decided by 10 points or less this season ... Oregon State is 9-0 this season when taking the lead into half.
