Hey GymDawg Fans!
It's been an eventful couple of weeks! I'm glad to see it's almost season!!!
We all have been working really hard in the gym to get our routines into the best shape we can, and it's starting to show. We got to go home recently for 10 or so days over Christmas, and that was an amazing break, with time to see family and visit friends. Most of us went back to our home states and got to relax, which was nice. I saw all my family members over Christmas, and I got to see my Grandma, who had surgery for cancer this summer. I'm really close to my grandparents, so I loved seeing them, and we watched home videos from the 1950's! My grandparents were so cute!
We came back to the gym on December 29th to start practice again, and it was good to see everyone and the coaches, since we are used to seeing each other every day. We got right back to work, since our first meet is this Friday, January 9th! Everyone looks pretty good, and I'm glad to say that I'm finally back to full routines on everything after my knee surgery in October. It was awesome having my whole team supporting me during recovery and rehab. They definitely helped me push through the rough stages, which are bound to happen. But we're all anxious to get out and show off our new routines and skills to the crowd, and we can't wait to see everyone on January 9th when we compete against Alaska!!! I hope everyone has/had an amazing New Year!
