Swimming Hosts Washington

CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State women's swim team will host Pacific-10 Conference rival Washington Saturday, Jan. 10, at Steven's Natatorium beginning at 11 a.m.
Going into the meet, the Beavers have put up 25 dual victories on the season by seven different swimmers in 12 separate events. Kayla Rawlings leads Oregon State with 12 wins, seven in the 200 butterfly, two in the 100 butterfly and three in the 500 freestyle, while Brittney Iverson follows in second with four dual wins, all in the 200 individual medley.
During the last meet, Rawlings moved in to the ninth spot on the Oregon State all-times list with her second place finish in the 1,000 freestyle. She also moved into the eighth position in the 500 freestyle with her victory during the Florida Atlantic meet.
Jenni Dole has made her presence known in the pool during her freshman season with Oregon State as she has tallied two dual wins, one in the 100 backstroke and one in the 200 backstroke, and currently holds the third spot on the Oregon State all-times list in the 100 backstroke, second in the 200 backstroke, third in the 100 butterfly and 10th in the 200 butterfly.
The Beavers have already qualified two swimmers for the NCAA Championships in the 200 butterfly this season, Saori Haruguchi and Rawlings.
Oregon State takes to the pool again Saturday, Jan. 24, when the Beavers host Washington State beginning at 11 a.m. at the Osborne Aquatic Center.
