Chad Kreuter Set For NCAA Baseball Coaches Cook-Off On Saturday

LOS ANGELES - USC baseball head coach Chad Kreuter and other college baseball coaches from the southern California area will compete on Saturday (Jan. 24) in the 'NCAA Baseball Coaches Cook-Off' at the ESPN Zone in Anaheim.
The Southern California coaches will each team with an ESPN Zone chef to prepare an entrée in a 20-minute timeframe and then present their creation to a panel of judges. The dishes will be graded on presentation, creativity and taste.
Along with the always-important bragging rights, coaches will be vying for top honors in all three of the categories as well as the 'Top Chef' billing for the best overall score.
Other coaches involved in the competition will be: Mike Gillespie (UC Irvine), Mike Weathers (Long Beach State), Dave Serrano (Cal State Fullerton), Steve Rousey (Cal State Northridge), Jason Gill (Loyola Marymount), Steve Rodriguez (Pepperdine), Rich Hill (San Diego) and Bob Brontsema (UC Santa Barbara).
The competition will begin at 8 a.m. and last until 11 a.m.
