The men's track and field team will head to Lincoln, NE this weekend for the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational. The Bruins will be looking to pick up more NCAA qualifiers after an impressive showing in Seattle last weekend.

At the UW Invite last weekend, the Bruins picked up several more NCAA qualifiers and now have several athletes ranked in the top-10 in the nation.

The distance medley relay team opened up the season with a 9:37.95 run and are now fourth in the NCAA. Sophomore Johnny Quinn holds the No. 5 pole vault mark in the nation (17-7), while teammate Dustin DeLeo is tied for 10th with a mark of 17-1.

Sophomore Bo Taylor ranks ninth in the shot put (59-9.50) after throwing that mark twice this season and senior weight thrower Boldizsar Kocsor holds the seventh-best mark in the weight (68-5.75).

Sophomore Cory Primm is just outside the NCAA top-10 as he is 11th in the country in the 800m with a time of 1:50.17.
