Men's Golf Kicks off Spring Season at Pat Hicks Invitational

What's Happening This Week : The Washington State University men's golf team opens its spring season at the Pat Hicks Invitational, Monday...the two-day, 36-hole event will be played at the par-72, 6,758-yard Sunbrook Golf Course in St. George, Utah...the tournament begins Monday and will conclude Tuesday.
The Field: The 14-team field pairs Washington State with Utah State, Denver, Boise State, College of Charleston, Weber State, Cal State Northridge, Oral Roberts, Utah Valley, San Jose State, Dixie State, Grand Canyon and UC Riverside.
Traveling for the Cougars: Seven Cougars will be traveling to Utah to take a swing at victory in the first spring tournament...the Cougar contingent includes juniors Nick Grigsby, Austin Hurt and Kevin Tucker, sophomore Nick Ellis and freshman Trent Sanders...competing as individuals are redshirt sophomore Xavier Dailly and redshirt freshman Ryan Jones.
Last Time Out: The Cougar men were led by a solid performance from junior standout Hurt at the Wimberly Intercollegiate...Hurt posted a three-round score of 212 (-1) to finish in a tie for seventh place...he grabbed his 11th career top 25 finish...junior Kevin Tucker and sophomore Nick Ellis each finished in the top 25...the Cougars posted a team score of 874 (+22) to finish in a three-way tie for sixth place...the team concluded the fall season with four top five finishes in six tournaments.
