Cats Split Another Day at Kajikawa Classic

GAME ONE: Lauren Delaney held No. 7 Arizona to four hits, and No. 9 Northwestern scored three runs in the fifth to defeat UA 3-1 in front of an 606 in attendance at the Kajikawa Classic on Saturday morning.

GAME TWO: Arizona clawed back after a disappointing first game to score 7 runs and defeat the No. 23 Nevada Wolf Pack, 7-2, in their fourth game in 24 hours at the Kajikawa Classic. [Read More]


ASU Collects Two More Wins

TEMPE, Ariz. – With Katilin Cochran and Caylyn Carlson both going long while Hillary Bach and Megan Ellsworth held down the Devil defense Saturday as ASU collected two more wins on the season, beating Penn State 4-3 and Cal State Bakersfield 7-1. Palm Springs, Calif. - Early morning rains might have put a damper on the Cal-Boise State game, but it didn't keep the No. 14-ranked Golden Bears from playing and winning their second game by a 9-1 count over Illinois (in six innings) at the Cathedral City Kickoff on Saturday afternoon.
