Senior Madeleine Stanton and sophomore Lauren Hall led the Bruin swimmers and divers on Friday in the final dual meet of the season as UCLA fell to USC, 160-140. The Bruins end the regular season with a record of 4-5 (2-5 Pac-10).
Stanton, swimming in her final dual meet as a Bruin, had a career day as she swam two meet records, two NCAA qualifiers and two lifetime-bests during the meet. She opened up with a meet record and lifetime-best swim of 53.08 in the 100 backstroke to win the event. Her time is just .07 seconds shy of the NCAA auto mark.
