WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Stanford freshman Bradley Klahn was named Pac-10 Men's Tennis Players of the Week for Feb. 9 - 15, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

Ranked No. 16 in singles, Klahn helped the Cardinal to arguably its biggest upset of the year, knocking off second-ranked Texas, 4-3, in the second round.

Klahn, a native of Poway, Calif., sealed the victory for Stanford against the Longhorns with his 1-6, 7-6 (8), 7-5 comeback over Kellen Damico of Texas. The Cardinal are now 6-1 on the season.

This is the first weekly honor for Klahn and the third all-time for Stanford since the awards inception. Matt Bruch earned honors last season, and earlier this year Blake Muller was selected.
