Recap | Final Stats | Game Action

Head Coach Joanne Boyle

'I am very pleased with the game overall on both ends of the court. We just needed to get back on the court after the last game and regroup. The kids were anxious the last two days to just to go out and get a game under their belt, so I was happy with the outcome of this game.'

'We played good defense. We got into a little bit of foul trouble, but when other people came in, there wasn't a drop off, and we needed that. We had five players score in double figures. It was well balanced.'

'We had two really good days of practice. We really got the focus back. We worked very hard with a much better focus.'

'We were taking quick shots. As long as they are good shots, I don't have a problem with that. As long as we are making them, we'll keep doing it. If we're missing it, then we'll have to work the ball around. We were really shooting the ball well, so I wasn't going to hold anyone back at that point. It was nice that Lauren Greif got a couple of threes early. They had to guard her, which opened up the inside a little more for us. The doubles were tougher for them. We were just in a flow tonight. We need that.'

Senior forward Ashley Walker

'In the first half, I told myself to just run and get early post touches. Coach always tells us that and it was something we worked on over the week. Then they started sending triples and doubles at me, so I had to kick it back out to my teammates, and they played really hard and they did a good job of scoring tonight.'

'Trell (Shantrell Sneed) had a great game today. We were really excited for her. All of the bench players work so hard in practice. It's a good thing when they have a chance to step out on the floor and Trell always steps up to the occasion. She's such a good sub for us. She comes out and does her thing every game. She uses her minutes wisely.'
