Baseball's Series Finale Against Tennessee Cancelled

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - Due to icy and snowy conditions at Lindsey Nelson Stadium and in the Knoxville area, the Oregon State baseball team's series finale against Tennessee Sunday has been cancelled.

The Beavers will leave Knoxville with a 1-1 record after defeating the Volunteers, 14-4, in the second game on Saturday. Oregon State dropped the first game, 5-4, on Friday night.

Oregon State now heads home to Corvallis for a few days before leaving Wednesday for Tempe, Ariz. The Beavers will participate in the DeMarini Invitational beginning Thursday. Oregon State will open the tournament Thursday at 12 p.m. PT against Northern Illinois, and also play Missouri and host Arizona State over four days.
