#4 Baseball Finishes Up Week In Surprise With 12-10 Win Over Kansas
SURPRISE, Ariz. - Kole Calhoun and Riccio Torrez had three hits and three RBI each to lead the No. 4 Arizona State University baseball team to a 12-10 victory over Kansas on Sunday in the final game of the Coca-Cola Classic in Surprise. Cal Baseball Loses to No. 24 Cal Poly, 11-4
BERKELEY, Calif. -The Cal baseball team jumped out to a 2-0 lead on sophomore first baseman Mark Canha's two-run single in the first inning, but Cal Poly came back with a run in the top of the second inning and seven runs in the third inning to coast to a 11-4 victory Sunday in the third game of the three-game series at Evans Diamond. The Golden Bears, who captured the first game of the series, 12-8, but lost game two, 10-5, fall to 9-7 overall. The No. 24-ranked Mustangs improved to 11-4. Cal was paced by two hits apiece from juniors Jeff Kobernus and Dylan Tonneson, and sophomore Brian Guinn. [READ MORE]
