No. 18 California Drops Head-to-Head Match Against San Jose State

The California Golden Bears women's golf team, looking to add to their spring schedule, picked up a head-to-head match against the San Jose State University Spartans on Tuesday, March 17. The Spartans edged the Bears 295-308.

The two teams played 18 holes at the par-72 Metropolitan Hold Links in Oakland. San Jose State's Erica Moston was the top individual with a two-under 70 on the 6,069 yard course. Sophomore Pia Halbig and senior Allison Goodman posted the low rounds for the Bears, tying for third with identical scores of 75 (+3).

The Bears will be back in action on Friday, March 27, when they play in the La Quinta Tournament in La Quinta, Calif., another tournament recently added to the schedule.
