No. 4 ASU Sweeps Away Arizona With A 23-9 Victory
TEMPE, Ariz. - The No. 4 Arizona State University baseball team scored a season-high 23 runs on Sunday, as the Sun Devils defeated Arizona 23-7 to complete a three-game sweep of the Wildcats. A third consecutive sellout crowd of 4,371 fans at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark saw the Sun Devils improve to 17-3 overall, 3-0 in the Pac-10, on the season. [READ MORE]

Gaviglio, Tommasini, Miller Combine To Hold Down Saint Mary's
CORVALLIS, Ore. - John Tommasini drove in three runs and Michael Miller knocked in two more in his first start of the season as the Oregon State baseball team improved to 4-0 at Goss Stadium in the 2009 by defeating Saint Mary's, 9-3, in the fourth game of a five-game homestand. [READ MORE]

Cal Baseball Falls to Stanford, 6-5 in 12 innings
BERKELEY, Calif. - Stanford's Kellen Kiilsgaard walked with the bases loaded in the top of the 12th inning to force in a run, and Cal wasn't able to score after Dwight Tanaka led-off the bottom of the 12th with a single as the Golden Bears (11-8, 1-1) fell to the Cardinal (4-9, 1-1), 6-5 in 12 innings, Sunday at Evans Diamond. The two teams will now play the Pac-10 rubber match on Monday, March 23 at 2:30 p.m. at Evans Diamond. Kiilsgaard had a big day for Stanford, hitting lead-off home runs in the ninth and 11th innings, while Cal freshman Marcus Semien hit his first collegiate home run and sophomore right fielder Mark Canha hit a three-run homer and had a clutch sacrifice fly in the 11th inning. Triggs Pitches USC To 5-1 Win Over UCLA
LOS ANGELES - Redshirt freshman Andrew Triggs (Nashville, Tenn./Montgomery Bell Academy) threw seven scoreless innings Sunday as the USC Trojans evened the Pac-10 Conference series with a 5-1 victory against the UCLA Bruins at Dedeaux Field. Triggs, who allowed just three hits and allowed two walks with seven strikeouts, is now 2-0 on the season with a 1.52 ERA (23 2/3 IP, 17 H, 4 ER, 6 BB, 16 SO, .202 opponents' batting average).
