Fans Invited to Attend Regional Open Practices

BERKELEY - Bay Area basketball fans are invited to come out to Haas Pavilion on the University of California campus to watch the four teams competing at the Berkeley Regional of the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament go through their open practice drills on Friday, March 27.
The practices are free to the public, and doors to Haas Pavilion will open at 11 a.m. The NCAA merchandise shop will also be open during the day.
Each team will work out for one hour on the court, starting at 12 noon. The final practice will conclude at 4:15.

Second-round NCAA Tournament games Monday and Tuesday will determine which teams advance to Berkeley. Those still vying for spots in the Sweet 16 are Duke, Stanford, Ohio State, Iowa State, Michigan State, San Diego State, Mississippi State and Ball State.
All-session tickets for the Berkeley Regional are $50 for sideline prime seats, $35 for end zone (adults), and $20 for youths (12 and under) and seniors (65+) in the end zone. Single-game tickets are $35 for sidelines, $25 in the end zone for adults and $13 in the end zone for youths and seniors.

In addition, fans are encouraged to come out early to both the semifinal and regional championship games March 28 & 30 to enjoy the NCAA Village that will be set up on Spieker Plaza in front of Haas Pavilion. The event will run from 5-6 p.m. both days and will include music, sampling and other giveaways. Representatives from Vitamin Water, Coke Zero and Powerade will all be on hand.
