Cougars Finish Seventh at Duck Invitational

JUNCTION CITY, Ore. - The Washington State women's golf team moved up one place during the final round to finish seventh at the 15th-annual Duck Invitational at the par-72, 5,954-yard Shadow Hills Country Club.

The Cougars finished with their lowest round of the tournament (303) after tallying a 327 and 312 during the first and second rounds, respectively.

Freshman Andrea Rosete led the Cougars and carded a three-round total of 231 (+15), the second-lowest total of her career. The finish was good enough to put Rosete in a tie for 19th, marking her third top 25 finish of the season.

Amy Eneroth notched her 34th career top 25 finish by moving up 11 places during the final round to finish in a tie for 25th. Eneroth tallied a 74 (+2) during the closing round, giving her a tournament-total of 235.

Right behind her was Jessica Black who just missed another top 25 finish. The senior posted a 77 (+5) during the final round and finished one stroke out of the top 25 in a tie for 27th.

Rounding out the Cougar contingent were freshmen Lauren Howell and Kristen Allard, as well as redshirt junior Mandy Parsons. Howell posted a 75 (+3) during the final round which gave her a three-round total of 242. Parsons and Allard both carded an 81 (+9) during the final round and finished with a total of 245 and 248, respectively.

The next tournament for the women's team will be the Mountain View Intercollegiate in Tucson, Ariz., and will begin Saturday, March 28.
