Craig Robinson and Pat Casey Headline Beaver Sports Talk
March 24, 2009
Corvallis, Ore. -
Beaver baseball takes a four-game series win streak into this Friday's Civil War, presented by the Northwest Dodge Dealers. It's a streak that dates back to 1981 when current Beaver head coach Pat Casey was playing in the San Diego Padres' organization and Oregon dropped its program.
The series resumes Friday in Eugene and to hear the preview check out Beaver Sports Talk tonight, the final show of the year, from McMenamins Brewpub on Monroe Street in Corvallis or on the Beaver Sports Radio Network.
Joining Casey will be head men's basketball coach Craig Robinson to discuss tomorrow's College Basketball Invitational semifinal against the Stanford Cardinal at legendary Gill Coliseum at 7 p.m. Advanced ticket sales are encouraged to avoid potential long lines at the door; the ticket office will open at 8:30 a.m.
Two representatives from Samaritan Advantage, a sponsor of OSU Athletics, will be in attendance as well. Samaritan annually recognizes an outstanding senior citizen in the community for their efforts and presents this individual an ultimate baseball experience at an OSU game.
Mike Parker, the voice of the Beavers, hosts the hour-long show.
