STANFORD, Calif. - Stanford freshman left-hander Brett Mooneyham struck out 10 in his first collegiate victory, while combining with reliever Drew Storen on a two-hitter as the Cardinal (7-11, 3-3 Pac-10) blanked visiting Washington (10-14, 1-2) by a final of 11-0 this afternoon in a Pac-10 Conference game from Klein Field at Sunken Diamond. Cal Baseball Defeats Washington State, 8-2
BERKELEY, Calif. - The Cal baseball team, led by Mark Canha's 4-for-5 day and Brian Guinn's clutch two-run double, defeated Washington State, 8-2, Sunday in the final game of a three-game conference series at Evans Diamond.
