Cougar Women Travel to Miami

What's Happening This Week: The Washington State women's golf team will travel to Miami Lakes, Fla., to compete in the Ryder Canes & Cardinal Classic...the two-day tournament will begin April 6, at the par-72, 6,223-yard, Don Shula's Golf Resort.

Traveling for the Cougars: Five Cougars will make the trip to the East Coast including seniors Jessica Black and Amy Eneroth as well as freshmen Kristen Allard, Lauren Howell and Andrea Rosete.

The Field: The 12-team field will pair the Cougars with Boise State, Akron, Miami, Maryland, Penn State, Middle Tennessee, Cincinnati, Texas State, Texas Tech, Princeton and San Jose State.

Last Time Out: The Cougars' last tournament was the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz...the women finished in a tie for 14th after posting a team score of 289 (+1) during the final day...Eneroth finished in a tie for 18th and tallied the 35th top 25-finish of her career...Black posted a one-under-par, 71 during her final round which marked her third sub-par round of the season.
