Pries and Storen Pitch Stanford to 3-1 Win at Oregon
EUGENE, Ore. - Freshman right-hander Jordan Pries worked 7.2-excellent innings, Drew Storen retired all four batters faced and Joey August hammered a solo home run as Stanford (10-12, 4-4 Pac-10) posted a 3-1 victory over host Oregon (12-16, 2-3) this afternoon in a Pac-10 Conference game at PK Park. USC Wins 15-14 Slugfest At Arizona
TUCSON, Ariz. - Senior right-hander Daniel Cooper (Costa Mesa/Costa Mesa HS/Rice) threw an inning in relief with the tying run at second to earn the save Saturday as the USC Trojans won a 15-14 slugfest against the Arizona Wildcats to even the Pac-10 Conference series.
