Ian Crocker to Headline IES Swimming Clinic

MOSCOW, Idaho. - World record holder and Olympian Ian Crocker will be leading a swimming clinic Saturday, April 25, as part of the Inland Empire Swimming House of Delegates weekend. The event will be held at the University of Idaho Swim Center and Renfro Hall. The House of Delegate meeting will take place at the University Inn in Moscow, Sunday, April 26, at 10 a.m.
The Ian Crocker clinic will also feature head coaches Erica Quam from Washington State University and Tom Jager from University of Idaho as well as student-athletes from both universities. The coaches and athletes will be assisting Crocker with the clinic as well as giving a presentation on college swimming.
The clinic will have pool sessions for swimmers 12 and under beginning at 9 a.m. and a session for swimmers 13 and up at 2:30 p.m. Crocker will speak to swimmers, coaches and parents at 12 p.m. Lunch will also be provided for those in attendance.
The event will also offer IES officials and parents the opportunity to fine tune their skills in setting up meets and using Meet Manager software and allow IES coaches to finalize schedules for the upcoming 2009-10 season.
