Huskies Host Seattle U Friday

SEATTLE - Washington men's soccer continues its spring exhibition season hosting cross-town rival Seattle University on Friday, April 10, at Husky Soccer Field. Kick-off is slated for 4:30 p.m., a change from the original schedule.

The Huskies are 1-1 in their spring campaign most recently coming off a 3-1 win over Portland in the Rose City on Saturday. Junior Casey Cunningham scored two goals which were assisted by junior Adam Lang and sophomore Matt Van Houten, while freshman Brent Richards added a third.

UW fell in its spring opener to the University of British Columbia, 2-1, back on March 6.

Following Friday's match, Washington will play three more spring games. UW will take on Sounders FC on Tues., April 21, and travel to Gonzaga (Sat., April 25, 2 p.m.) and Seattle Pacific (Fri., May 1, 7 p.m.).
