Women's Varsity 8+ Crew Climbs to 14th in Polls

The Oregon State women’s Varsity 8+ crew is ranked 14th in the nation by the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association poll released on April 8th.

The Beavers moved up four spots from 18th in the April 8th version of the CRCA poll.

All seven Pac-10 Varsity crews are ranked in the poll, with Stanford (2) and California (3) coming in the top 5. Washington (6), Southern California (11), Washington State (15), and UCLA (17) also find themselves in the rankings.

Oregon State will face three ranked crews at the Columbus Invitational on April 18-19. The host crew from Ohio State is ranked 12th, while two more top 5 crews from Michigan (4) and Michigan State (5) will be in attendance.
