James Rodgers Runs Wild in Seattle
April 9, 2009
Corvallis, Ore. -
Washington’s plan was simple -- stop Jacquizz Rodgers; not exactly a secret in the Pac-10 come Oct. 18, 2008. What the Huskies didn’t plan for was his brother James Rodgers, or maybe they just picked their poison. James ran right, left and straight ahead for 110 yards and overall accounted for 216 all-purpose yards in the Beavers’ 34-13 throttling of UW.
James earned Pac-10 Offensive Player of the Week honors as the Beavers beat the Huskies for the fifth straight time.
