Michael Miller hit his first career home run and Ryan Ortiz drove in three hits on the strength of a 2-for-4 night in an 8-4 victory over BYU on Tuesday. The win gave the Beavers a sweep of the two-game midweek series. Miller parked a three-run home run in the second to start OSU's scoring and Tanner Robles, Ryan Gorton and James Nygren held the BYU bats quiet enough for the four-run victory.
Call Him Mr. Ortiz, Thank You

He has hit safely in 15 of those games, running hit streaks of seven and eight games, respectively. He is currently on an eight-gamer.
Is It A Coincidence?
