Kipnis, Newman Drive In Four Runs Each To Lead #1 Baseball To 14-6 Win Over Stanford
TEMPE, Ariz. - Jason Kipnis and Matt Newman drove in four runs each and Raoul Torrez hit his first home run of the season as the No. 2 Arizona State University baseball team defeated Stanford 14-6 on Friday in front of a crowd of 3,376 at Winkles Field-Packard Stadium at Brock Ballpark. Cal Baseball Defeats Oregon, 14-1
BERKELEY, Calif. - Behind strong pitching from freshman right-hander Erik Johnson and home runs from junior second baseman Jeff Kobernus, freshman right fielder Danny Oh and freshman catcher Chadd Krist, the Cal baseball team defeated Oregon, 14-1, Friday afternoon at Evans Diamond. The Golden Bears, who had defeated UC Davis, 21-4, on Wednesday, improved to 17-18 overall and 4-9 in the Pac-10. Cole's 13 Strikeouts Propel UCLA Baseball Past Washington, 4-2

USC Pitches Way To 4-3 Win At No. 14 Oregon State
CORVALLIS, Ore. - USC junior Robert Stock (Westlake Village/Agoura HS), who started the game at catcher, came in as a reliever in the eighth and held off the tying run Friday as the USC Trojans opened a Pac-10 Conference series with the 4-3 win over the No. 14 Oregon State Beavers.
