Drabble And Kildahl Drop Pac-10 Semi

OJAI, Calif. - Washington's stay at the Pac-10 Men's Tennis Championships came to an end today, as Derek Drabble and Martin Kildahl fell in the semifinals of the main doubles draw at Libbey Park.

Drabble and Kildahl, ranked 61st nationally, had their five-match win streak snapped by one of the team's they had defeated during that streak, Ryan Thacher and Bradley Klahn of Stanford. The Husky pair beat the Cardinal duo in Seattle two weeks back, but the 45th-ranked Stanford freshmen took control today, winning 8-3.

The Huskies, ranked 27th as a team, will now wait to learn their NCAA destination, as the NCAA Selection Show is set for this Tuesday, April 28, at approximately 2:20 p.m. Pacific time on ESPNews.

Washington is expected to be selected for its 15th-straight NCAA tourney.
