Mike Leake's Complete Game Gem Leads #1 Baseball By Cal 3-1
BERKELEY, Calif. - Junior right hander Mike Leake proved once again just how special he is, allowing only one Cal run over nine innings in a 3-1 Sun Devil victory over the Golden Bears at Evans Diamond. It was Leake's seventh career complete game and third this season. With the win, Arizona State improves to 30-8 on the year, 14-2 in Pac-10 play. UCLA Baseball Outlasts No. 17 Oregon State, 7-5
LOS ANGELES - The UCLA baseball team overcame a four-run deficit after three innings and held on to defeat No. 17 Oregon State, 7-5, in a Pac-10 series opener Friday evening at Steele Field at Jackie Robinson Stadium. Center fielder Blair Dunlap went 3-for-4 with one home run, one double and three runs to lead the Bruins (18-20, 10-6 Pac-10) past the visiting Beavers (23-10, 8-5 Pac-10). [READ MORE]

USC Takes First Game Over Washington State, 5-1
LOS ANGELES - Junior right-hander Brad Boxberger (Tustin/Foothill HS) threw his first collegiate complete game Friday, tying a career-high with 11 strikeouts, as the USC Trojans beat the Washington State Cougars, 5-1, in the first game of a Pac-10 Conference series at Dedeaux Field.
